I came to Houston the way a lot of people do — with a one-way flight, a hypothesis about a better life, and an unreasonable amount of belief in myself.

I'm Daisia. I'm a licensed real estate agent at Collective Realty Co. in Houston, and I help people buy, sell, and invest with the kind of care that's harder to find in this industry than it should be.

Before real estate, I had what some people would call an unconventional path and what I'd call exactly the right one. I studied biochemistry at Austin Peay State University — graduated cum laude, ranked 4th in a class of 254, picked up a Harvard Medical School genetics and data anayltics certificate along the way. I went to medical school at Meharry. And then I left.

I left because I learned something important: I'm not someone who fits inside one box. I needed a career that used all of me.

The years between

Between medicine and real estate, I built a life that doesn't summarize easily. I worked as a cosmetic chemist and marketing director. I became a BI analyst running predictive models and influencer analytics. I taught dance, choreographed heels and hip-hop, performed as an aerialist. I modeled — published in more than ten magazines, nominated for an SEA award. I designed a fashion collection. I wrote songs. I built an audience of over 190,000 people across Instagram and TikTok by being honest about all of it.

Every single one of those things sharpened a muscle I use in real estate.

The Through-Line

Chemistry taught me to read evidence. Analytics taught me to read patterns. Modeling taught me to read a room. Choreography taught me to read tempo. Real estate is all four at once.

Why I do this

I work with first-time buyers who are scared to ask the questions that matter. I work with sellers who've been burned by agents who treated their listing like a hobby. I work with investors who want someone who can actually run the numbers, not just nod along.

And I work in two Houstons — the one in the brochures and the one people actually live in. I'll show you both.
